Statement :
"I am fascinated by history, and as an artist I am interested in keeping old traditions alive. For Icons Today I have borrowed from the past, but given the works a contemporary touch. Be it by using modern materials and mediums when painting the traditional Icons, or by giving a New Zealand touch to the quirky naïve landscapes.
Goddesses have provided inspiration for many since ancient times. I have started a series of goddess-protectors, which I hope will attract and uplift the viewer."
